DON'T GET TAKEN FOR A RIDE
For far too long, motorists have been exploited and used as cash cows by governments that are too incompetent to raise revenue in proper and decent ways. Although motorists pay large sums of money in car registration and other fees and in fuel excise and other levies, governments still thirst for more, so they use their so-called "safety" cameras to raise obscene amounts of revenue by fining them unmercifully.
Despite the massive revenue that governments reap from motorists, they seem incapable of building and maintaining roads, so they collude with private companies to build toll roads and then vandalise free roads to force motorists to use those expensive toll roads. Well, enough is enough. It is time that motorists fought back against these ripoffs. The aim of CARR is to educate motorists to use inexpensive modern technology to thwart this abominable revenue-raising and also to have a member base to give motorists a lobby against these disgusting ripoffs. There is power in numbers and the more members that CARR has, the more effective will be the voice of motorists who are tired of being used and abused.
