DON'T GET TAKEN FOR A RIDE

My name is Ziggy Zapata and I am a professional entertainer, commercial pilot and computer and IT consultant. Because of my work, I drive a lot and I don't have much choice about it. But as a motorist, I am completely fed up with being ripped off and being made an easy target for those revenue-raising speed and red-light cameras. I am fed up with being coerced into using toll roads that should have been freeways paid for by me and all the other motorists with the massive taxes and charges that the states levy, on top of our already high income taxes. I am angry that there is a fuel excise, luxury car tax and other indirect taxes that were promised to be abolished when GST was introduced, yet still exist to rip us off even more.
Well, it's time for the motorist to fight back. My aim is to mobilise NSW motorists to:

At the moment, I am not emailing a newsletter, so just remember to check this website often for news and updates. Your details will always be confidential and never provided to anybody for any reason. the only thing that anybody will see is your name on the Supporters page.
The more people who protest, the more likely that something can be done to rectify the ripoffs that we are enduring. We have to fight back. Spread the word about CARR and get as many of your friends and acquaintances on board as possible. If motorists unite and send toll road operators broke, the state government will have to take those toll roads over and make them into freeways, as they should have been in the first place. We can also avoid handing our hard-earned money to the government by never being booked by traffic cameras again.
